Our History

Howling at the moon since 2000, Denise Páne started River Coyote Design with goal of supporting entrepreneurs and small businesses. She was owner, designer, developer, mail processor, email answerer, bill payer, plant waterer, floor sweeper. RCD has since matured into a talented team of 5. We are passionate about supporting small businesses and have a special place in our hearts for women-owned ventures. Having served over 400 clients, we have the experience, knowledge and talent to help businesses:

build their digital presence
create a strong, memorable brand
connect with more customers
create a comprehensive marketing strategy
get their site in front of the right eyes

Denise is a bold adventurer in both life and business. A passionate outdoorswoman with an energetic personality, she thrives when connecting: whether kayaking the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon and connecting with power of the Canyon, backpacking in Alaska and connecting with the wildness of the place, networking at business events and connecting with inspired business owners, volunteering for Northern California Weimaraner Rescue, El Dorado Women's Fund and as a board member for Sierra Wildlife Rescue and connecting with the passion people bring, or exploring with clients and connecting about their values and goals for their business.

SHERRY Tanaka-Wong
PROJECT MANAGER
THE RING MASTER

With over five years of project management experience, Sherry continues her passion to help people complete their goals effectively and efficiently. Prior to project management, she was a credentialed educator for over fifteen years working with young urban students.

In her limited downtime, she reads the news online and watches DIY videos. She is a Pixar fan at heart. She secretly wishes she had created Post-It Notes because she absolutely loves them to make her life function efficiently!

ROSEMARY ROBERTS

MARKETING MAVEN

For over a decade, Rosemary has brought her unique sense of consumer engagement to the B2B and B2C world though print, web, radio and television. Her experience as a writer, creative content developer and marketing professional affords our clients a project management advocate who understands the trenches and knows how to navigate the details necessary to reach ‘the promised land’. Her outgoing nature and style is professional with just enough sass to keep things fun and interesting.

An animal advocate at heart, her world in the foothills includes four dogs, two cats, 10 ducks, free-range hens and the ‘ruler of the land’, Mr. Banks (her rooster).

OCD PUT TO GOOD USE

Irene is in charge of the creative designs from start to finish. When developing your brand, she'll create something that hones in on you and your company's image, message and voice.

She studied Graphic Design at George Brown College and received her degree in 2011.

Away from work, Irene loves: dog training, decorating, painting, doing furniture makeovers and "singing" karaoke with a thick Russian accent. She also volunteers at a local theater and donates to Sick Kids & Sunnybrook hospitals.

CODE SLINGER

Bringing over 10 years experience in web development, Tareq can build almost anything for River Coyote Design's clients. He specializes in PSD to html, PSD to WordPress, responsive web design, website redesign, WordPress theme development, WordPress plugin development, jQuery, JavaScript, PHP and Android apps development.

Although he spends much of his free time learning new programming languages, he's secretly a rebel that loves riding a motorcycle around town. He also runs a small charitable foundation where he teaches programming to people in the community.
